Who develops the products for Equilibrium Natural Collections?

Equilibrium Natural Collections founder and owner Inga worked with manufacturing companies specialising in natural and organic skin care. Together they created and designed our ranges of skin care and body products.

Is Equilibrium Natural Collections 100% Australian owned and is the product made and manufactured in Australia?

Yes it is! All of Equilibrium Natural Collections skin care and body products are Australian made & owned. A manufacturing company in Bowral makes all of our natural products in small batches and our organic products are made by a company in Melbourne who specialise in the manufacture of organic skin care.

I don’t have allergies to regular skin care, why should I change to organic and natural skin care?

Our skin is the largest organ in our bodies and absorbs more than 80% of what we put on it, so if you are using skin care that is full of chemicals then you are making yourself toxic. Changing to natural and organic skin care will give you that piece of mind that you are benefiting health wise.

What are some of the reasons for avoiding chemicals in skin care products?

You can choose what you put on your skin if you know the facts, as there are ingredients that you need to avoid. Our skin is our largest organ and is your most important immune defense barrier as well as your largest organ for eliminating waste. Every day we use products that are not safe and this is because the cosmetic industry is self regulated, which means companies can put whatever they want in their products even if they are harmful to our health. It is a good idea to be educated on all the harmful ingredients so that you can make sure there are no harmful ingredients in the products you use.

Alcohol Isoprpyl, DEA (Diethanolamine) MEA (Monoethanolamine), TEA (triethanolamine) DMDM Hydantion, Urea, FD&C Colour pigments, Synthetic fragrances, Mineral oil, Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), Propylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Triclosan, Alumium, Pthalates, DEET, Dioxins, Formaldehyde, PABA, Para-Aminobenzoic Acid (PABA), Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, Toluene, and Camphor.

And I can assure you that we have absolutely none of these chemicals in our products!

What age group are Equilibrium Natural Collections products created for?

Equilibrium’s organic and natural skin care and body products have been designed to cater for a wide range of skin types and ages. We have created a variety of face creams, toning gels, cleansers & body lotions to suit people with sensitive, mature, oily, dry and adolescent skins. Any age, skin type and gender can use our products.

What are the benefits of essential oils in skin care?

Essential oils have been used for centuries in skin care to keep it healthy and to treat various ailments and conditions. In our natural and organic skin care and body products we have added essential oils to give you a variety of benefits.

Are Equilibrium Natural Collections products safe to use during pregnancy?

All of our skincare products are safe to use during pregnancy, as they do not contain any harmful ingredients that will harm you or your baby.

I have an allergy to synthetic fragrances and perfumes, is Equilibrium Natural Collections suitable for me to use?

Yes! All of our products contain no synthetic fragrances or perfumes. We use essential oils and extracts to give our skin care a beautiful subtle and natural scent.

I am unsure of my skin type, how can I find out what I should use?

That is not a problem! We have created a page specially to help our customers figure out what skin type they have and what products they should use to make their skin love them again. We have also created particular skin type packs to make it easy for you to buy all the skin care you need!

I have skin sensitives such as rosacea and eczema. Are your skin care products safe for me to use?

Yes! Our main goal when creating our skin care was to make organic and natural products which were suitable for skin sensitivities like rosacea, eczema and acne. All of our products are free of chemicals and fragrances and instead our products are packed full of butters, gels, extracts and essential oils to heal and soothe your skin and help reduce inflammation, scarring & redness. I have acne, which products should I use?

Use our acne pack to help in the prevention and treatment of acne. This pack includes the aloe vera foaming cleanser, skin rescue, light facial cream and rose hip oil. These four products are excellent for people suffering from acne, as they will help protect, heal, soothe & regenerate your skin. Are your products tested on animals?

No! Our products are not tested on animals. All our skincare is also palm oil free.

Do your products contain any animal components or by-products?

All of our products are completely vegan friendly! They are completely free of any animal by-products.

Why did you feel the need to design and create your own skin care range?

From the get go we knew that we needed to create our own natural & organic skin care range as we realised just how hard it was to find skin care that had absolutely no chemicals in it, was made in Australia and was reasonably priced. It soon became obvious how many people were allergic to their skincare because of all the chemicals and fragrances in them. Our main goal was to give people who suffer with a variety of skin sensitivities a range that would be gentle and healing for their skin, could be used by any age and gender and was affordable.
